Ben’s Best (Rego Park, Queens)

Whatta disappointment!  After so much hype with Guy Fieri’s show, numerous newspaper clippings and awards consuming every bit of wall space in this over-priced kosher deli, we left hungry and annoyed. 

We paid 50 bucks for:

• an uninspired and insipid matzoh ball soup
• 2 cold and rubbery latkes
• a very dry turkey on rye sandwich
• an *acceptable* pastrami sandwich

What a colossal rip-off.  We will definitely NOT be returning to this place again.
